• An impulsive courtier with a reputation for being foolishly dramtic and subversive

• Son of the leader of the opposition party

• Compulsively loyal to his friends; both a good & bad thing in a triple agent

• supercilious and obsessively insecure

• magical abilities: conjuring light, conjuring sound, levitating small objects, cleaning and straightening hair & clothes, resistance to enchantment, ability to transfer wounds via touch, ability to cut or break objects at a short distance (nothing that couldn't be done with a knife or a hammer), slight defensive/deflective abilities, projecting confuson/disorientation.

Damarhis Sunfall, Count Thornrose, is the only scion of the second most influential family in the kingdom of Antarion. His emotionally distant father trained him to be a superb courtier and political manipulator, but Damarhis has two major failings: a fascination with superficial trappings of nobility over substance, and an eagerness to please which makes him too subservient to be more than a stalking horse for someone else's causes.

Recruited by undead revolutionaries to spy upon the Crown Prince, Damarhis charms his way into royal circles by providing an introduction to a comely faerie ambassador, and cultivating a reputation as a scapegrace taker of risks - the friend the Prince looks to when he's looking to get in trouble. In the process of infiltrating the Prince's circle of friends, however, he alienates his own cadre of decadent subversives.

Riding, hunting, fencing, dancing, gambling, small talk - Damarhis is at least passable in every noble past-time he indulges in (and superb at dancing). He has excellent social instincts, allowing him to charm or offend at will, but his native love of scandal and his inability to think past the moment means that every smart remark he makes may have larger implications and second-order consequences he entirely overlooks. Short-tempered, vain, entitled, and anxious to blend in among friends, Damarhis gives the impression of being capricious, when he is, in fact, simply not planning ahead.

objective: State unpopular opinions. Damarhis isn't one to stand up for his own viewpoint if other peoples' seem more agreeable, so actually having to be sincere and state his disagreements would be more than a little terrifying for him, and make him scramble to deal with the arrogant things that come out of his mouth - but it would also be exhilarating to feel that he was able to tell the truth for once in his life.
